It's The Final Countdown!

With just 6 and half days to go to our Womens Event:
"The Unique Role of the Jewish Woman in Hastening the Redemption". We are, thank G-d receiving phone calls with enquiries, however some of the calls highlight the need for this event.

Many are asking how many will be there before they will commit to come too. The response of Mordechai to Esther when she was questioning whether to talk to King Achashveriosh about the plight of the Jews, is very appropriate. As Mordechai stated, "Am Yisrael will be redeemed, the question is whether you are going to be a part of making the Redemption happen" or just tag along for the ride. In the same way, to those women who are waiting to see whether enough women will be there for them to also join us, or whether perhaps something better will come along. We hope and pray that the only something better will be the Redemption itself.

As the 7th Lubavitcher Rebbe stated, the rebbes have done all that they can, it is now up to us. What part will you play in making the Redemption happen?

Another woman asked what kind of women will be attending. My response was Jewish women. One of the aims of the event is to increase unity amongst different Hashkafot and "groupings" of Jewish women. For this reason we have intentionally selected speakers from a range of Hashkafik backgrounds. In addition we have both able bodied and disabled represented. Since the Redemption will happen for all Jews and the Torah teaches that just as we were redeemed from Egypt in the merit of righteous Jewish women, so too the Final Redemption will happen in the merit of righteous Jewish women.

How can you help practically between now and the 8th of December, even before Chanukah?

You can:
  • Share the information about this event and encourage your friends, sisters, mothers, aunts, cousins, grandmothers and neighbours to come and join us. We offer a free raffle ticket for each woman you recruit to join us, who pays and attends.
  • Purchase a raffle ticket
  • Book your ticket or tickets for the event itself
  • Recite Tehillim in the merit of this event being successful
  • Join us to recite Tehillim for Am Yisrael between 9.10 am and 9.30 am on 8th December, either in person or from wherever you are
  • If you are unable to attend in person, please do learn for at least 5 min on anything related to the Redemption during the time of the event.
Come and enjoy. For just a few hours, put aside your questions and your presumptions and just enjoy being with other Jewish women. Enjoy learning Torah, learning a range of ideas related to how women can hasten the Final Redemption. Not just any women but Jewish women.

Thank you for your interest. We look forward to seeing you there.
