To People Who Want To Learn Torah But Can't Get Started

Many people become interested in what Torah and Judaism have to offer but do not know where to get started. They may lack basic Hebrew or have some Hebrew but not enough to translate. They may not know where to begin. Which books and commentaries are acceptable and which are problematic. What is authentic Judaism and what is an adaptation.

Perhaps you are searching for meaning, having questions come up for you and not sure where to begin to look or who to ask.

The images here show just a few of the types of books / Seforim available. Or ones dilemma looking at a pile of books you know might be good for you and no idea where to begin or how to reach that certificate of achievement that lies at the top.

If any of these are true for you, do be in touch with Chessed Ve'Emet. We offer Torah learning on line and in person at your own pace. If you need to learn to read Hebrew we are happy to teach you. If you are already reading Hebrew but not yet able to learn, we'd love to help you too. And if you have done some learning and wish to delve into a different Sefer to text, we'd love to help you to reach your Torah learning goals too.

Please visit our website and be in touch to schedule an appointment to discuss what your level or Torah learning is and what your goals are. If you do not yet have goals, not to worry, we can assist you to develop appropriate goals for your stage of life and level of learning.

We look forward to chatting with you and learning together.
