Frustrations with Crowdfundraising

It's been a while since I posted about what we have learned regarding crowd fundraisers. Currently, we have hit a bit of frustration. It's been a number of weeks since our last campaign ended and no sign of the bit donated coming through. We are learning the hard way that some crowd fundraising websites are far more user friendly than others and far more affordable. This last one has a high percentage that they charge and it's takes a long time to get any answers to questions sent in. If you are considering doing a crowd fundraiser, make a criteria easy communication and good service from the help desk. It makes a world of difference to working on your campaign.

If you donated towards our last crowd fundraiser, we are very grateful for your contribution and whatever is holding up the funds coming through will be ironed out.

In the meantime, we are reviewing our options to bring in funds while developing our centre. There is a lot on the go behind the scenes. One thing I can say for certain, if you have a dream, don't lose sight of the goal when you reach a road block. Sometimes one has to take a detour and sometimes a different fork in the road, but keep striving for your goal. I like to remember the song "Nothing is impossible, as long as you believe!"

What helps to give you strength or motivation when you face challenges?
